The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has issued a circular regarding the half day closing of the offices till 2:30 pm today, January 22, 2024. The circular states as follows:
“In terms of DoPT’s Office Memorandum F.no.12/7/2023-JCA dated 18th January, 2024, the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22nd January, 2024 across India and all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 1430 hours on 22nd January, 2024.
To enable employees to participate in the celebrations, all offices of the Institute including Regional Offices & Branches will be closed for half day till 14: 30 hours on 22nd January, 2024.”
