ICAI Notifies July 2025 ISA Assessment Test Schedule, Centers, and Application Details

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued an official notification on 21st May 2025, announcing the schedule and related details for the Information Systems Audit – Assessment Test (ISA–AT) for July 2025. This test is an essential part of the ISA Course 3.0 Syllabus, intended for ICAI members seeking specialization in Information Systems Audit.

The ISA Assessment Test is a qualifying examination for members who have undergone training under the ISA 3.0 syllabus. This test assesses the knowledge and competence of Chartered Accountants in auditing information systems, a critical area in the digital and data-driven financial landscape.

Date and Mode of the Examination

• Date of Test: Saturday, 12th July 2025
• Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Indian Standard Time)
• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT) format only. The examination will be conducted digitally at selected test centers across India.

Eligibility Criteria

The examination is open only to members of ICAI who:

• Have registered for the ISA Course 3.0 with ICAI.
• Fulfill the eligibility conditions as laid down by the Institute.

No non-members or unregistered individuals are permitted to appear for this test.

Examination Cities and Centers

The CBT will be conducted in multiple cities across 24 states/UTs. Some notable points include:

• Maharashtra has the highest number of centers (7): Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, Thane, and Kolhapur.
• Uttar Pradesh has 5 centers: Allahabad (Prayagraj), Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Noida.
• Major metro cities like Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad are included.

Important Note: The test will only be held in a city if a sufficient number of candidates opt for it. ICAI reserves the right to withdraw any test center at any stage without assigning a reason.

5. Application Process

Applications for the test must be submitted online via the official portal:

• Website: https://isaat.icai.org
• Application Window: 30th May 2025 to 12th June 2025
  Examination Fee: Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only)

Payment Modes Accepted:

• VISA, MasterCard, Maestro debit/credit cards
• Rupay card
• Net banking
• BHIM UPI

6. Fee and Refunds

• The prescribed fee is non-refundable and must be paid online at the time of application.
  
  
• Any failure in transaction or incomplete registration will not be considered without confirmation of payment and form submission.
