The decision comes as several educational institutions and exam-conducting bodies across India review their schedules and preparedness in response to evolving security threats.

Security experts have raised concerns over the vulnerability of digital infrastructures during periods of national tension, especially for high-stakes examinations like SPOM, which rely on stable internet connectivity and secured platforms.

As the situation develops, ICAI is expected to coordinate closely with national agencies to assess the feasibility of conducting the exams in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, students and stakeholders await further clarity, hoping for a swift return to academic normalcy.
