The Board of Studies at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has introduced Self-Paced Online Modules ( SPOM ) for CA Final Course Students.

The SPOM, available in two sets – SET A focusing on Corporate and Economic Laws, and SET B on Strategic Cost & Performance Management, is designed to offer students a flexible and enriched learning environment. This initiative is in line with the New Scheme of Education and Training, where students are required to complete a minimum of 40 learning hours through SPOM on the ICAI Digital Learning Campus at https://lms.icai.org/login.

Exclusively available to Final Course registrants, SPOM allows students to learn at their own pace. The Institute has clarified that no additional fees are applicable for accessing the Self-Paced Online Modules.

Students can track their learning progress and completion status through the dashboard on the ICAI Digital Learning Campus. Upon completing the required learning hours, students will undergo an SPOM test conducted by the Examination Department. Details regarding this test will be communicated separately.

Students seeking exemptions in SPOM are advised to refer to the Examination announcement for further guidance at: https://resource.cdn.icai.org/75658exam61200.pdf

CA Final Students can log in to the ICAI Digital Learning Campus Portal either through OTP received on their registered mobile number with Self-Service Portal (SSP, ICAI only) or by signing in with SSP login details.

Before logging in, students are urged to carefully read the FAQs for a seamless learning experience. Additionally, students must have a Desktop/Laptop with webcam functionality to participate in the SPOM. A stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 2 to 5 Mbps is essential, and adequate lighting is required for face detection purposes during the learning sessions.
