ICAI’s Disciplinary Committee removes name of 5 CAs for Professional Misconduct [Read Notifications]

The Disciplinary Committee of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) removed the names of five CAs for Professional Misconduct.
The Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Abhijit Balkrishna Gaikwad (Membership No. 122995), guilty of Professional and Other Misconduct falling and consequently ordered for removal of the name of CA. Abhijit Balkrishna Gaikwad from the Register of Members for a period of 1 month.
The committee has held CA. Asok Guha (Membership No. 015143) guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of CA. Asok Guha from the Register of Members for a period of 2 years.
The committee further removed CA. Harishkumar Bhaishankar Purohit (Membership No. 036004), guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clauses (5), (6) (7) & (8) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of CA. Harishkumar Bhaishankar Purohit from the Register of Members for a period of 15 days.
The Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Nandkishor Parshuram Redij (Membership No. 036600), guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clauses (7) & (8) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of CA. Nandkishor Parshuram Redij from the Register of Members for a period of 6 months and also imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000.
Lastly the Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Satyawan Jalindar Mule (Membership No. 103417) guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clauses (7), (8) & (9) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of CA. Satyawan Jalindar Mule from the Register of Members for a period of 1 year and also imposed a fine of Rs. 15,000.
