The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) extends ECSIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021 and UDIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021 till June 30, 2021.
The Institute is being approached by members to extend the ECSIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021 since they could not avail the benefit under the Amnesty Scheme, 2021by the last date i.e. June15, 2021due to personal difficulties and persisting lockdown situation in the Country due to Covid-19.
The Institute has issued the ICSI (Employee Company Secretaries Identification Number) Guidelines, 2019 effective from October 1, 2019 to enable the Institute to identify a Company Secretary employed in a particular organisation and bring more transparency.
The Institute has launched ECSIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021 from April 20, 2021 to May 15, 2021 considering the practical problems and other difficulties being faced by the members and subsequently extended the Scheme from time to time upto June 15, 2021 in view of the second wave of Covid-19.
Institute in view of the requests of the members to extend the Amnesty Scheme, persisting situations in the country due to COVID-19 and various practical difficulties being faced by the members has decided to extend the UDIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021 and ICSI ECSIN Amnesty Scheme 2021 till June 30, 2021.
. All active ECSIN generated from the effective date of ECSIN Guidelines i.e. 1st October, 2019 and to be generated upto the validity of the scheme i.e. June 30,2021 shall be eligible for the purpose of this Scheme. Other conditions of the Amnesty Scheme shall remain the same.
