The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India (ICSI) notified the extension in the provision of making e-MSOP accessible to eligible students by relaxing the criterion of a two years’ time bar up to March 31, 2021.
The ICSI has issued the circular in continuation to circular no. Trg-04/2020 dated January 7, 2020 wherein the extension was provided by relaxing the eligibility criteria in the provision of e-MSOP upto December 31, 2020.
In the wake of the current situation in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute further extends the relaxation up to March 31, 2021, in the eligibility criteria for taking admission in e-MSOP by temporarily removing the two years’ time bar between professional pass and e-MSOP registration.
“Hence, all professional pass students irrespective of their year of passing in the professional examination may avail the facility of the e-MSOP subject to fulfilment of other conditions as mentioned in the guidelines,” the ICSI notified.
