With the introduction of Corporate Tax in the UAE from June 1 , 2023, one of the fastest-growing business and investment hubs of the world is all set to be regularized, accelerating the country’s strategic development and transformation.
According to the United Arab Emirates, UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 on taxation of corporations and businesses (the Corporate Tax Law), businesses will become subject to UAE Corporate Tax from the beginning of their first financial year that starts on 1 June 2023.

The UAE Federal Tax Authority has also released an FAQ, giving detailed clarifications to some frequently asked questions.

Aligning with the tailwinds of the New Tax Regime, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is organizing a special Corporate Tax Conference on June 3, 2023, in Dubai, UAE, on the theme UAE Corporate Tax-A New Paradigm Towards Transparency and Sustainability.
The Conference will give an overview of the proposed Corporate Tax and highlight the role of Governance Professionals in implementation of transparency and financial discipline, brought in by it.
