Income Tax Dept Releases Updated Utility Excel-Based Tool for ITR-3 Filing

The Income Tax Department has released an updated version of the Utility Excel-Based tool for ITR-3, catering to individuals and Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs) earning income from business or profession.

The latest version, Utility Excel-Based (Version 1.11), was made available on March 17, 2025, and now includes provisions for filing under Section 139(8A), which relates to updated tax return filings. The tool is designed to simplify tax reporting for professionals and business owners, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
