The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has officially notified the introduction of the Annual Information Statement (AIS) utility specifically designed for Mac OS on the income tax portal on 1st December 2023.
This notification signifies that users operating on the Macintosh operating system can now conveniently access and utilize the AIS utility on the income tax portal for their financial reporting and tax-related documentation.

Annual Information Statement (AIS) is a statement that provides complete information about the prepaid taxes and prescribed financial transactions entered into by taxpayers for a particular financial year. A taxpayer can access AIS information by logging into his income-tax e-filing account.
