The Income Tax Portal has enabled the Online filing for ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-4 forms for Financial Year 2024-2025. Taxpayers can also access the Excel and Offline Utilities for filing their Income Tax Returns (ITR) for Assessment Year (AY) 2024-25. The utilities are specifically tailored for ITR-1, ITR-2, ITR-4, and ITR-6 forms, catering to different categories of taxpayers.

As of April 1, 2024, Excel Utilities for ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-4 have been made accessible for individuals and businesses to facilitate the filing process. Taxpayers can conveniently download these utilities to prepare and file their returns accurately.
Moreover, Offline Utilities for ITR-1, ITR-2, ITR-4, and ITR-6 are also available, offering an alternative method for filing returns offline. This option caters to individuals and entities preferring to complete their tax filing process without an internet connection.
In addition to the utilities, the Income Tax Department has also enabled the activation of Online filing for ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-4 forms. Taxpayers can utilize the Online mode, which comes with pre filled data, streamlining the filing process and reducing errors.
