As the upcoming Interim Budget 2024, the experts are expecting Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to introduce changes in sectors such as personal finance, agriculture, banking, financial services, and insurance. The expectation was to provide relief and tax benefits to the salaried class by deductions under the new regime.
The experts are pointing out the demand to the Finance Minister to focus on the Tax deductions and other schemes that are encouraging the salaried class. As most Indian taxpayers have the habit of initially investing their savings in investment avenues that provide tax deductions under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
