The Central Government, in consultation with the senior-most Vice Presidents, has issued a transfer order on 09th October, 2024, reshuffling several Honourable Members of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal ( ITAT ). The Central Government, in consultation with the senior-most Vice Presidents, has issued a transfer order on 09th October, 2024, reshuffling several Honourable Members of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal ( ITAT ).
Key Highlights of the Transfer Order:
- Total of 12 Hon'ble Members have been transferred.
- Effective Date: 21st October, 2024.

- Three members, specifically Dr. Mitha Lal Meena, Shri Prabhas Shankar, and Shri Ratnesh Nandan Saha, are not entitled to travel allowance (TA) and daily allowance (DA) as their transfers were made at their request.
- All other members are eligible for TA/DA and joining time as per rules.
List of Transfers:
1. Shri Kul Bharat, JM: Transferred from Delhi to Pune.
2. Shri Satbeer Singh Godara, JM: Transferred from Pune to Mumbai.
3. Shri Inturi Rama Rao, AM: Transferred from Mumbai to Kolkata.
4. Shri Prashant Maharishi, AM: Transferred from Jodhpur (Functional HQ Jaipur) to Mumbai.

5. Shri Manish Borad, AM: Transferred from Amritsar to Agra.
6. Shri Sandeep Gosain, JM: Transferred from Mumbai to Ranchi.
7. Shri Pavan Kumar Gadale, JM: Transferred from Pune to Delhi.
8. Dr. Mitha Lal Meena, AM: Transferred from Cochin to Delhi.
9. Shri Gan Goyal, AM: Transferred from Pune to Bangalore.

10. Shri Prakash Chand Yadav, JM: Transferred from Mumbai to Jodhpur.
11. Shri Prabhas Shankar, AM: Transferred from Jaipur to Mumbai.

This reshuffle of ITAT Members is intended to address administrative needs and ensure the efficient functioning of the Tribunal across various locations in India.
