The Archaeological Survey of India has invited application in vacancies of Joint Director General (Finance & Accounts) and Joint Director General (Legal).
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), under the Ministry of Culture, is the premier organization for the archaeological researches and protection of the cultural heritage of the nation. It regulates all archaeological activities in the country as per the provisions of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958. It also regulates Antiquities and Art Treasure Act, 1972.

- Joint Director General (Legal) – 01
Joint Director General (Finance & Accounts)
Qualification Requirements:
- Graduate from a recognized university with 12 years of experience in the Field of Finance or Accounts. Or
- Chartered Accountancy or Cost & Management Accountancy from a recognized university with 10 years of experience in the field of Finance or Accounts.
Joint Director General (Legal)
Qualification Requirements:
- (i) Graduate from a recognized university. (ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university with 9 years of working experience in the legal department of the designated organization or administration of law in a Judicial or Quasi-Judicial capacity. Or
- Integrated Graduation plus Bachelor’s Degree in law (LLB) (5 years duration) from a recognized university with 10 years of working experience in the legal department of the designated organization or administration of law in a Judicial or Quasi-Judicial capacity.
