The Hitachi invited applications for the post Financial Planning & Data Analytics - Controlling Practice & Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, validating, and organizing financial and operational data from multiple sources.
• Support development of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with global finance and IT teams to maintain data integrity and support automation initiatives.
• Contribute to scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis under guidance from senior team members.
• Help document processes and participate in continuous improvement projects for data and analytics workflows.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• must have exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts and FP&A processes.
• Interest in automation and emerging technologies (AI/ML) in finance.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field ( CA, MBA, MCA, or similar background preferred)
