Deloitte invited applications for the post Finance Transformation Operate-Manager-Project accounting and reporting.
Qualifications:
· CMA, Master's or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
· Ability to communicate complex financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
· Experience with financial systems and tools used in project accounting and reporting.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Project Accounting Management:
o Oversee day-to-day project accounting activities, ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions.
o Lead and manage the reconciliation process to ensure financial data is aligned with project milestones.
· Journals and Accruals Approval:
o Review and approve all journal entries and accruals to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
o Monitor adjustments and corrections to accounting entries to maintain financial integrity.
· Audit Management:
o Lead internal and external project accounting audits, ensuring all necessary documents and information are readily available.
o Address audit queries promptly and ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
· Stakeholder Governance:
o Organize and lead governance calls with stakeholders to review financial progress and resolve issues.
o Ensure effective communication and alignment across all business units on financial matters.
· Performance Monitoring (SLA/TAT/KPI):
o Track and manage project accounting activities within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Turnaround Times (TAT).
o Measure and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
· Training and Dashboard Management:
o Create and manage financial dashboards to deliver insights, monitor progress, and enable data-driven decisions.
o Design and deliver training sessions to upskill team members while actively participating in sessions on process improvements, financial management, and reporting excellence.
· Risk Management and Compliance:
o Ensure all project accounting activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
o Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with financial transactions and reporting.
