Qualifications

• Postgraduate in MBA or MSc with a focus on SCM, sustainability/environmental management or project management.
• Should have 3 year experience in a management position ( preferably in SCM ) in a multicultural environment.
• Experience in business administration, sourcing, supplier development and quality preferred.
• Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Preferred knowledge of Hitachi Energy global business, policies and global organization within a division/region.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Your responsibility:

• Lead, develop and implement relevant SCM standards, tools and processes in assigned region and jointly with local businesses, define sustainability priority areas/suppliers, based on global risk identification procedures and local requirements.
• Subject matter expert in supply chain sustainability, including customer requirements, legal framework, international and industry standards and competitor activities in assigned region.
• Coach people at all levels of the SCM organization in assigned region in order to enable them to support suppliers in complying with relevant sustainability requirements.
• Support definition of global strategic SCM sustainability initiatives ( e.g. resource efficiency initiative, GHG reporting, risk analysis and mitigation, supplier capacity building, etc. ) and drive rollout in assigned region.
• Develop, coach, lead and manage SCM sustainability team as well as local SCM Sustainability champions in assigned region.
• Drive and support Local Division and Business Unit SCM managers and staff in implementing the SSDP in their supply base.
• Develop external certification and quality assurance program and coordinate, facilitate and monitor certification process of internal assessment team members and lead assessors
• Lead, coordinate and monitor supplier sustainability development assessments and CAPA follow-ups; ensue quality of CAPA by routine in depth reviews
• Lead and implement GHG program across the 21 SSDP High risk countries
• Coordination with all the BU SCM Sustainability managers, 5 SSDP leads and regions for successful implementation of GHG modules in the 21 high risk countries.
