The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) notified the amended rules relating to shifting of registered office under the Companies Act, 2013.
Section 12 and 13 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 states the law and procedure regarding having a registered office of the Company and shifting of registered office of the Company.
The amended rules modified Form INC 23 and INC 26 which are used for seeking approval and for advertisement to be published in newspaper to shift the registered office from one state to another.
