The Ministry of Corporate Affairs ( MCA ) has issued a notification on January 7, 2025, announcing the appointment of new Judicial and Technical Members to the National Company Law Tribunal ( NCLT ), under the Companies Act, 2013, effective January 2025.

The appointed members will assume their respective posts on the dates specified in the notification.
The pay scale for these members is set at Level 15 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, ranging from ₹182,200 to ₹224,100.
The appointments are expected to strengthen the NCLT benches by addressing pending cases and expediting the resolution of disputes under the Companies Act, 2013, and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
