The MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) yesterday passed a circular extending the last date for filing AOC-4 (XBRL e-forms using IndAS) for the financial year 2016-17 without additional fee till the end of March next year i.e. 31.03.2018.
This comes after various stakeholders approached the government with requests for extending the time limit for filing of financial statements for the financial year that ended on 31.03.2017 as they were finding difficulty in adapting the newly implemented Indian Accounting Standards (mentioned earlier as IndAS). For all other e-forms AOC-4 and AOC-4 (XBRL non-IndAS) and related AOC-4 CFC e-forms, the last date is 28.11.2017 without any additional fees.
