Chartered Accountants – Election Tribunal Rules – MCA notifies appointment – Ministry of Corporate Affairs – Corporate Affairs – Rakesh Tiwari Ministry Of Corporate Affairs – TAXSCAN

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), vide notification no. S.O. 4999(E) issued on 22nd November 2023 has notified the appointment of a new member under chartered Accountants (Election Tribunal) Rules, 2006.

Exercising the authority granted by sub-section (1) of section 10B of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, and in accordance with rule 3 of the Chartered Accountants (Election Tribunal) Rules, 2006, the Central Government introduced additional amendments to the notification issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, vide number S.O. 1591(E) dated the 12th April 2019, as published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii).

The government has appointed Shri Rakesh Tiwari, Director (Legal and Prosecution) Ministry of Corporate Affairs as member.
