The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) on Friday notified Provision for display of companies annual return on website applicable from August 28, 2020
“In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017 (1 of 2018), the Central Government hereby appoints the 28th August, 2020 as the date on which the provision of clause (ii) of section 23 of the said Act shall come into force,” the notification said.
Every Company shall place a copy of the Annual Return on the website of the Company, if any, and the web-link of such annual return shall be disclosed in the Board’s report.
