MCA extends Due Date for filing Financial Statements & Annual Return with RoC, relaxes Additional Fee [Read Circular]

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs ( MCA ) has extended the due date for filing Financial Statements & Annual Return with RoC and relaxed the additional fee payable on e-forms AOC-4, AOC (CFS) AOC-4 XBRL and e- Form MGT-7 upto 31.12.2018.

A circular issued by the Ministry on Monday said that “Keeping in view the requests received from various stakeholders seeking extension of time for filing of financial statements for the financial year ended 31.03.2018 on account of various factors, it has been decided to relax the additional fees payable by companies on e-forms AOC-4, AOC (CFS) AOC-4 XBRL and e- Form MGT-7 upto 31.12.2018, wherever additional fee is applicable.”

Financial Statements of a company are required to be filed with the Registrar along with Form AOC-4 every year for each Financial Year. All the attachments including financial statements uploaded with Form AOC-4 must be signed as per the requirement of the Companies Act 2013. SD copies are not acceptable in case of AOC-4, hand signed copies are only accepted.
