The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) requested the form filers to wait for making final payments in the form filing. The ministry has reported that the Bharatkosh Payment Services are currently under maintenance. There is no issue in completing the form filing.
The official tweet of the MCA states, “Bharatkosh payment services are currently under maintenance. Stakeholders may complete filling up of forms and await resumption of Bharatkosh services to make final payments and submission.”
Bharatkosh payment services refer to the payment services provided by Bharatkosh, which is an online platform developed by the Government of India. It serves as a centralized payment gateway for various government departments and agencies to collect payments, such as taxes, fees, fines, and other charges, from individuals and businesses.
MCA portal glitches are troubling the professionals. The interested parties are continuously filing writ petitions before the High Courts stating the same.
Recently, the Kerala High Court directed to accept Form 3 and Form 4 within 10 days without additional fee in a matter relating to technical glitches in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) Portal.
Howvwever, the MCA has extended the due date of filing of Form DPT-3 without additional fee up to 31st July 2023 due to the portal issues. The ministry issued the circular on 21st June 2023. The DPT-3 form filers do not need to pay additional fees till 31st July 2023.
The circular stated that, “Due date for fi1ing Form DPT-3 (Return of deposits) is 30th of June 2023 for the Financial Year ended on 31st March 2023. Keeping in view the transition of MCA-2 1 Portal from Version -2 to Version -3, it has been decided to allow companies to file Form DPI -3 for the financial year ended on 31st March 2023 without paying additional fees up to 31st July 2O23.”
