Ministry of Law and Justice releases Hindi Translation of Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019 [Read Notification]

On August 25, 2023, the Ministry of Law and Justice issued the Hindi translation of the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019, with other acts after one year of its issue date that is August 22, 2022. This Hindi text would be the authoritative text of these texts in Hindi Language from now on.

The notification states “…….. are hereby published under the authority of the President and shall be deemed to be the authoritative texts thereof in Hindi under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Official Languages Act, 1963.”

The Tax Laws (Amendment) Act’s Hindi translation was accompanied by releases of Hindi translations for the following additional acts:

1. The Aircraft (Amendment) Act, 2020;
2. The Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Act, 2021;
3. The National Capital Territory of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Act, 2021;
4. The Finance Act, 2021;
5. The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021;
6. The Marine Aids to Navigation Act, 2021 and
7. The Factoring Regulation (Amendment) Act, 2021
