Honourable President of India, Droupadi Murmu addressed a Joint Session of Parliament ahead of Economic Survey 2024-2025 as a precursor to the Union Budget 2025-26.

The Economic Survey was tabled in the Rajya Sabha following an initiation by the current Vice President of India and ex-officio Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Jagdeep Dhankar. Following a moment of silence for the deceased former Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, the Economic Survey 2024-25 was tabled.
