Speaking at a regional GST grievance redressal committee meeting held virtually, Navneet Goyal, Chief Commissioner of Central Goods and Services Tax (CCCGST) of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, said there would be no compromising on the documentation needed for the Goods and Service Tax (GST) registration.

The officials added that the state's Appellate Tribunal for GST would shortly be established.

Lokesh Kumar Jatav, the state's GST commissioner, Additional Commissioner Dinesh Bisen, Additional Commissioner Tanvi Hooda, and other high-ranking officials were also present in the meeting.

Also, the committee members offered their recommendations for removing the GST system's bottlenecks. In addition, Goyal considered ideas to raise the GST collection from the present monthly average of roughly Rs. 1.50 lakh crore to at least Rs. 2.00 lakh crore.

Both the state's GST Commissioner Jatav and the chief commissioner of the CGST, Goyal, have given the issues, challenges, and recommendations raised at the meeting considerable consideration. They gave their word that genuine efforts would be taken to identify solutions to the issues raised during the discussion. The GST Council would hear these presentations.
