The Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) organized the Northern Region Chapters Meet at Haridwar, Uttarakhand, on December 16, 2023.
In collaboration with the Regional Council (RC) and Chapter Coordination Committee (CCC) of ICMAI, the NIRC orchestrated a gathering that witnessed the participation of approximately 100 members, including representatives from over 25 Chapters across the Northern Region. Central and Regional Council Members, as well as dedicated staff, also graced the event with their presence.
The Northern Region Chapters Meet garnered praise for its commitment to recognizing the proactive efforts of Chapters in disseminating professional knowledge among members, students, and various stakeholders in their respective areas.
Distinguished personalities such as CMA B.B. Nayak (Vice-President, ICMAI), CMA Vinayranjan P. (Chairman-RC & CCC), CMA S.N. Mittal (Chairman-NIRC of ICMAI), CMA R.S. Bhati (CCM), CMA M.K. Anand (CCM), CMA TCA Shrinivas Prasad (CCM), CMA Rakesh Yadav (Vice-Chairman, NIRC), CMA Santosh Pant (Secretary-NIRC), CMA Madhuri Kashyap (Treasurer-NIRC), CMA Honey Singh (RCM), CMA Manish Kandpal (RCM), CMA Jeewan Chandra (RCM), and other esteemed individuals graced the occasion with their presence, sharing motivational insights for the CMA profession.
The dignitaries emphasized the need for an active and robust coordination mechanism between Chapters, Regional Council, and Central Council to ensure unified and impactful growth for the profession and its various stakeholders.
The full-day event witnessed significant proceedings and deliberations, providing a platform for open discussions on various Chapter-related issues. The meet proved instrumental in addressing concerns and streamlining activities related to Chapters for enhanced efficiency.
