The Central Government yesterday revised the rates applicable to certain goods and under the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. The Central Government yesterday revised the rates applicable to certain goods and under the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. As per the newly issued corrigendum to the Notification dated 28th June 2017, 5% GST will be applicable for Photo Voltaic Cells.
In another Notification, the Board has clarified that Jaribooti and Cereals bearing a registered brand name will be exempted from taxation under the new indirect tax regime.
