The provisional empanelment status of Chartered Accountant (CA) Firms/ Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) with the Provisional Point Score for the financial year 2023-24 is available in Comptroller Auditor General (CAG) website www.care.cag.gov.in till June 8th 2023.
As per the information from the website, representation for the rectification of clerical mistakes (if any) in the online data can be made by sending an email to sao2ca5@cag.gov.in.
The CAG office has issued an invitation to CA firms and LLPs to submit online applications in order to be considered for appointment as auditors of companies under Sections 139(5) and 139(7) of the Companies Act 2013 and of Statutory Corporations/Autonomous Bodies under the provisions of their respective Acts for the fiscal year 2023–2024 on 1st January 2023.
Furthermore, from January 5 to February 15, 2023, the complete instructions in this respect were available. According to the notification, the applicant firms and LLPs had to fill out or update information describing their company’s position as of January 1, 2023. The firms/LLPs will be expected to generate online acknowledgement letters for the year after filling out/updating the data.
Additionally stated that the firms/LLPs’ applications for empanelment would not be taken into consideration if they failed to generate online acknowledgment letters. By February 28, 2023, the businesses/LLPs must deliver to our office a printout of the internet-generated acknowledgement letter as well as hard copies of the supporting paperwork for their online application.
As the application deadline has passed, you still have until June 8th 2023 to correct any data errors that may have occurred. You can login to the website by providing UserID, Password and the image code given.
