The Directorate General of Foreign Trade ( DGFT ) issued Notification No. 66/2024-25 dated 20th March 2025, confirming that the RoDTEP ( Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products ) scheme was extended for Advance Authorization (AA) holders, Special Economic Zones ( SEZs ), and Export-Oriented Units ( EOUs ) till February 5, 2025.

This extension revised the earlier cut-off date established in Notification No. 32/2024-25, dated 30th September 2024, giving eligible exporters additional time to claim benefits under the scheme.

RoDTEP is a flagship export incentive scheme aimed at reimbursing embedded taxes and duties that are not refunded under other schemes. These include costs such as state taxes on electricity, fuel used in transportation, and duties on inputs, which are not otherwise credited or rebated. The scheme ensures that Indian exports remain competitive by making them tax-neutral.
