After Mr. Tarun Bajaj, Mr. Sanjay Malhotra has formally taken charge as Secretary in the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance today. The 1990-batch IAS officer was heading the Department of Financial Services in the ministry prior to his joining as Secretary of the revenue department.
“Shri Sanjay Malhotra takes charge as Secretary, Department of Revenue in North Block, New Delhi, today. Prior to his joining as Secretary, Department of Revenue, he was Secretary, Department of Financial Services. Shri Malhotra, a 1990-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Rajasthan cadre, is an IIT-Kanpur alumnus and has a masters degree in public policy from the Princeton University,” the Ministry of Finance tweeted through its official twitter handle.
