SEBI notifies Regulatory Sandbox (Amendment) Regulations, 2021 [Read Notification]

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has notified the SEBI (Regulatory Sandbox) (Amendment) Regulations, 2021 which seeks to amend 32 regulations.

In the SEBI (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992, SEBI (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992; SEBI (Merchant Bankers) Regulations, 1992; SEBI (Debenture Trustees) Regulations, 1993; SEBI (Registrars to an Issue and Share Transfer Agents) Regulations, 1993; SEBI (Bankers to an Issue) Regulations, 1994; (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996; SEBI (Custodian) Regulations, 1996; SEBI (Credit Rating Agencies) Regulations, 1999; SEBI (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 1999; SEBI (Foreign Venture Capital Investors) Regulations, 2000; SEBI (Issue of Sweat Equity) Regulations, 2002; SEBI (Issue and Listing of Securitised Debt Instruments and Security Receipts) Regulations, 2008; SEBI (Issue and Listing of Debt Securities) Regulations, 2008; SEBI (Intermediaries) Regulations, 2008; SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011; SEBI {KYC (Know Your Client) Registration Agency} Regulations, 2011; SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012; SEBI (Issue and Listing of Non-Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares) Regulations, 2013; (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, etc. has deleted the word ‘technological aspect’.

The notification shall come into force from 3rd August 2021.
