Prominent entrepreneur and co-founder of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, recently expressed gratitude to the Income Tax Department for their efficient handling of his Income Tax Return for the fiscal year 2021-2022.

In a tweet, Grover thanked @IncomeTaxIndia for the timely closure of the faceless assessment, which resulted in zero demand.

Mr. Grover highlighted the significance of this return as it was the last one filed by his late father, Mr. Ashok Grover, who was also his Chartered Accountant ( CA ) before his passing. He acknowledged his father’s role in keeping him honest and expressed confidence that this return would strengthen his compliance eagerness.

He tweeted, “I’ve always been a diligent tax payer. This return was the last one filed by my dad Ashok Grover, who was my CA, prior to his demise. He was very particular and kept me honest. This will also further strengthen my defence in my cases.”

Additionally, Grover clarified that a notice he had mentioned in a previous tweet was due to a system error, and he promptly removed the tweet.
