Suresh Choudhary will be Sworn as Deputy Registrar of Jaipur GSTAT [Read Order]

In order to designate Suresh Choudhary as the Deputy Registrar of the Goods and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), Jaipur, the government has issued an officer order

In accordance with the 7th CPC in the Pay Matrix, the President of India is pleased to appoint Shri Suresh Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner, CGST Commissionerate, Alwar, Rajasthan, as Deputy Registrar, GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) at Jaipur in Level-11 on a deputation basis for a period of three years, beginning on the day that he or she commences work at Principal Bench, GSTAT, New Delhi, or until further orders, whichever comes first.

Within 21 days after this order’s issuance, the officer must report to the Principal Bench of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), located in New Delhi. Unless the responsible authority has extended the time of deputation in writing before its expiration date with the necessary approval, Shri Suresh Choudhary would be considered relieved on the date his deputation period expires. 

Having held a variety of positions in governmental and academic establishments, Suresh Choudhary has a broad expertise in administrative work. With his postgraduate degrees in law and public administration, he possesses the knowledge and abilities required for the role of deputy registrar. In her role as Deputy Registrar, Choudhary will be in charge of managing administrative tasks, making sure rules are followed, and promoting efficient departmental communication. His function is essential to preserving the effectiveness and integrity of the organization’s administrative procedures.

It was informed that any officer who overstays for any reason faces disciplinary action and other negative civil and service repercussions, such as having the overstay period excluded from service for pension purposes and having any raises that were due during that time deferred with cumulative effect until the officer returns to his parent cadre. Procedures for a considered resignation from the service would also be started in such a situation. The terms and conditions periodically provided by the DoP&T will govern the deputation.
