Tax Lawyer vacancy in Cochin based Firm

AHMED & AHMED a Cochin-based law firm has invited applications for the post of  Associate Lawyer.

AHMED & AHMED is a full fledged law firm providing multifaceted services in the areas of general, corporate, commercial and taxation laws for the domestic and multinational corporate in the country.  The firm is the brain child of Mr. Shameem Ahmed, a post graduate lawyer, who had handled some challenging legal roles with some of the renowned Multi National companies.   The firm has a reasonably good practice before the High Court, NCLT,NCLAT, Tax Tribunals like CESTAT, RERA authorities etc.  The firm is currently headquartered in Kochi, and has its associates across the country.  

Qualifications:

• legal professionals preferably with 1-3 years of PQE in Commercial law and Tax Matters.
• The ideal candidate should have good understanding of the market and the ability to handle responsibility independently, with limited supervision and to work effectively in a fast paced environment.  

Responsibilities:

• Constitution, Commercial, Tax and Company Litigation before High Courts and Tribunals including drafting of pleadings in such matters.
• Drafting and review of Commercial Agreements including
• Investment Structuring and Investment Agreements
• Proceedings before Regulators
• Strategic Legal Support to entities in India and outside
• Drafting of opinions on SEBI, RBI and FEMA and other similar matters.
