A vendor named Satyanarayana Singh was found in possession of these drug-infused goodies; it was stated that Singh had brought the illegal goods to Hyderabad from Gujarat especially for the celebration.

Relatedly, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) issued notifications to stop production after identifying 15 Uttar Pradesh-based businesses that were producing chocolates laced with ganja.
