1. Massive Rs. 2.5 Lakh Crore Loan Support for MSMEs: To address working capital issues, Tamil Nadu will provide Rs. 2.5 lakh crore in loans to 10 lakh MSMEs through banks and financial institutions. This aims to increase liquidity, boost productivity, and drive exports.

2. Rs. 366 Crore for MSME Industrial Estates: To support small manufacturers, the government will set up nine new MSME industrial parks across Tamil Nadu. These 398-acre estates will generate 17,500 jobs in:

  • Thirumudivakkam (Kanchipuram)
  • Saram & Nayanur (Villupuram)
  • Nagampalli (Karur)
  • Sooriyur (Tiruchirappalli)
  • Karuttapuliyampatti (Madurai)
  • Thanichyam (Ramanathapuram)
  • Naduvur (Thanjavur)
  • Narasinghanallur (Tirunelveli)

3. Rs. 170 Crore for SC/ST MSME Entrepreneurs: Under the Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme, SC/ST entrepreneurs will receive:

  • 35% capital subsidy.
  • 6% interest subvention for 10 years.

4. Rs. 50 Crore for Powerloom Modernization: To enhance textile competitiveness, the government will upgrade 3,000 powerlooms, improving the quality and efficiency of MSME-led garment production.

5. Rs. 50 Crore for High-Tech Fabric Cutting Machines: Common Facility Centers (CFCs) will receive fully computerized textile cutting machines with CAD/CAM software, enabling MSMEs to compete globally.

Women Empowerment Through Tax Cuts & Entrepreneurship

Women’s financial independence is a key focus of TN Budget 2025.

1. 1% Tax Cut on Property for Women: To encourage property ownership among women, Tamil Nadu will:
