The university’s Academic Council Standing Committee recommended the mapping of ICAI courses with several IGNOU programs including B.COMG, B.COMGOL, B.COMF, B.COMFOL, M.COM, and M.COMOL, a recommendation later approved by the Academic Council. This credit transfer policy, now effective immediately, permits students to claim exemptions for equivalent ICAI subjects they have passed. Notably, the credit transfer can be claimed only once per course, with the validity extending up to seven years. IGNOU has also kept the process financially accessible by imposing only a modest one-time non-refundable processing fee, varying according to the number of credits transferred.
