Looking at the past few years, ICAI has typically announced the May exam results in early to mid-July. In 2024, the results were declared on July 11. In 2023, results came out on July 5, while in 2022, they were announced on July 15. The anticipated July 6 result date fits well within this pattern. Furthermore, ICAI has scheduled campus placement registrations from July 10 to July 20. This means the results would have to be declared before July 10 to ensure that successful candidates can register for campus placements in time.
A timely result announcement is crucial because it allows candidates to plan their next steps, including registering for placement and preparing for interviews. It also provides clarity for those considering further studies or alternative career opportunities. With placement processes starting on July 10, an announcement by July 6 would give candidates a few days to complete formalities and gather necessary documents.
Candidates will be able to check their results on the official ICAI websites — icai.nic.in or icaiexam.icai.org — by entering their roll number and registration number. The passing criteria remain unchanged: candidates must secure at least 40 percent marks in each paper and 50 percent marks in aggregate for each group.
