About Rajasthan Housing Board

The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB), established in 1970, is a state government body responsible for providing planned, affordable housing solutions across Rajasthan. It builds residential colonies, commercial complexes, and essential urban infrastructure like roads, parks, and community centers to improve the quality of life in urban areas.

The Board prioritizes housing for economically weaker sections, low-income, and middle-income groups, addressing the challenges of rapid urbanization in the state. Through its various schemes, RHB has developed thousands of houses and colonies in cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur, playing a critical role in the state’s urban development.

This income tax exemption will enable RHB to retain more of its funds, reducing tax outflows, and allowing those funds to be reinvested into housing and infrastructure projects.

This step from the government will help the Rajasthan Housing Board continue its mission of building sustainable, inclusive housing solutions for the people of Rajasthan.
