The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued Office Order No. 133/2025 announcing the transfer and posting of 13 officers in the rank of Principal Commissioner and Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes. The order was approved by the competent authority and takes effect immediately. It will remain in force until further orders.
The list includes both routine transfers and changes due to promotion or return from deputation. The officers have been directed to join their new assignments without delay. They must be relieved from their current postings by August 22, 2025 and report to their new stations on or before September 4, 2025. The order states that no representation will be considered before the officers take charge at their new postings.

The CBIC has instructed all concerned Principal Chief Commissioners, Principal Directors General, Chief Commissioners, and Directors General to ensure timely compliance and report the relieving and joining of these officers to the Board by September 12, 2025.
