The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has elected CMA Neeraj Dhananjay Joshi as its Vice President for the Council Year 2025–2026. CMA TCA Srinivasa Prasad was the Vice President of ICMAI for the Year 2024-2025.

CMA Neeraj D. Joshi has been a highly skilled professional in cost and management accounting for over 20 years. His excellent academic record includes placing second in the University of Pune's MBA exam and 17th overall in the ICMAI Foundation Examination. In addition, he is an ICMAI Fellow Member.

International credentials such as the Certified SAP FI/CO Consultant (SAP AG, Germany) and the CISA (ISACA, USA) are part of his professional background. He is currently a certified public accountant and promoter director of an ERP consulting and systems audit firm. He was previously a member of the ICMAI Council and has chaired a number of Institute committees.

Periodically, elections are held for the Institute of Cost Accountants of India's (ICMAI) Council and Regional Councils. "The Cost and Works Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006" and "The Cost and Works Accountants Regulations, 1959," as well as other notifications and codes of conduct issued by the Institute, are the main rules and regulations that regulate these elections.

An Election Tribunal will be established in accordance with "The Cost and Works Accountants (Election Tribunal) Rules, 2006" to resolve disagreements resulting from the elections. Dissatisfied parties may file complaints, and the Tribunal may reject applications, deem elections invalid, or declare elected officials invalid and call for fresh elections.
