The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has issued Notification dated April 17, 2026, announcing the inclusion of Egypt and Jordan under the RELIEF export support scheme. The move expands the list of eligible destinations under the Resilience and Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation (RELIEF) initiative.
The RELIEF scheme was introduced in March 2026 under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) to support Indian exporters facing disruptions in global logistics and trade routes. With this latest amendment, exporters shipping goods to Egypt and Jordan will now be eligible for benefits under the scheme.
