The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has issued Public Notice No. 11/2025-DGFT dated 12th June 2025, announcing an amendment to Appendix 2T of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023. The notice updates the name and contact details of one of the authorized export promotion councils responsible for issuing Registration-Cum-Membership Certificates (RCMC).

The inclusion of “Toys” in the council's mandate reflects the government’s emphasis on boosting toy exports, a sector that has witnessed considerable policy support in recent years, including increased import duties on foreign toys and the establishment of toy clusters across India.

Exporters dealing in toys will now coordinate with the renamed council for RCMC-related services. This consolidation is expected to simplify administrative procedures and enhance sector-specific guidance and support.
