ICAI Announces CA Final January 2026 Results; 7,590 Candidates Qualify as Chartered Accountants
Group I records 21.03% pass rate as ICAI releases January 2026 CA Final examination results nationwide.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the results of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination conducted in January 2026.
The announcement was made on 1st March 2026 through the official examination portal which marked a crucial academic milestone for aspiring Chartered Accountants across the country.

The pass percentage details are as follows:
- Group I: 53,652 candidates appeared out of which 11,282 passed,contributing 21.03% pass percentage.
- Group II: 38,169 candidates appeared out of which 3,726 passed,contributing 9.76% pass percentage.
- Both Groups: 22,293 candidates appeared out of which 2,446 passed,contributing 10.97% pass percentage.
Consequent to the declaration of the result, a total of 7,590 candidates have qualified as Chartered Accountants in the January 2026 session.
CA Final examination is marked as the final step of the Chartered Accountancy course which tests the skills of the students in areas such as advanced accounting, auditing, taxation, and strategic financial management.
Along with the pass percentage, the ICAI has also released the details of the top three rank holders on an all India basis.
With this announcement the newly qualified professionals have taken one step closer to becoming members of the ICAI which would allow them to get into the corporate, taxation, audit, and consulting industry as Chartered Accountants.
