The Institute ofChartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the comprehensive schedule for the Chartered Accountants Foundation, Intermediate and Final Examinations to be held in September and November 2026.
The announcement issued on May 2, 2026, also provides the calendar for Post Qualification Course (PQC) examinations including the International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination.
According to the official notification the Foundation Course examinations are scheduled for early September while the Final exams are slated for November. The Intermediate exams will be conducted in two groups during the first half of September.
The ICAI has maintained a standard timing for most papers from 2 PM to 5 PM IST offering a 3-hour duration. However, specific papers such as Paper 6 of the Final Examination and all papers of the INTT-AT will extend to 4 hours, concluding at 6 PM IST. Accordingly, Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination are limited to a 2 hour duration.
However, a 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM will be provided for most examinations. Notably, this reading time is not applicable to Foundation Papers 3 and 4 or any Post Qualification Course examinations.
The online window for submitting examination forms will open on July 6, 2026. Candidates for the main courses must apply through the Self Service Portal (SSP) while members appearing for PQC exams must use the dedicated PQC portal.
The standard examination fee for the Foundation and single-group Intermediate exams is ₹1500, while the Final single-group fee is set at ₹1800.

Foundation exams will be held on September 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 9th; Intermediate Group I on September 1st, 3rd, and 6th; and Group II on September 8th, 10th, and 12th.
Final Group I exams are set for November 2nd, 4th, and 6th, with Group II following on November 9th, 11th, and 13th.
The last date to submit online forms without a late fee is July 19, 2026, while the final cutoff with a late fee of ₹600 is July 22, 2026.
- Students seeking to change their examination city or medium can utilize the correction window available from July 23 to July 25, 2026.
- Candidates for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams have the option to answer in either Hindi or English, though PQC exams remain English-only.
