ICAI CA May 2025 Results: Ranjan Kabra Secures 1st Rank in CA Final
Out of a total of 29,286 candidates who appeared for both groups of the CA May 2025 Examination, 5,490 students successfully cleared both, marking an overall pass percentage of approximately 18.75%

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the results for the Chartered Accountancy ( CA ) Foundation, Intermediate and Final Examinations held in May 2025 today. The list of toppers are also out.
CA Final Toppers
Ranjan Kabra of Mumbai secured 1st rank followed by Nishitha Bothra of Kolkata with 2nd rank and Manav Rakesh Shah of Mumbai secured the 3rd position.
CA Foundation Toppers
Vrinda Agarwal of Ghaziabad secured 1st rank, Yadnesh Rajesh Narkar of Mumbai secured the 2nd position and Shardul Shekhar Vichare of Thane secured the 3rd position.
Pass Percentage of CA Final Examination
Out of a total of 29,286 candidates who appeared for both groups of the CA May 2025 Examination, 5,490 students successfully cleared both, marking an overall pass percentage of approximately 18.75%.
For Group I alone, 66,943 candidates appeared, of which 14,979 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 22.38%.
In Group II, 46,173 candidates took the exam, and 12,204 cleared it, registering a pass percentage of about 26.43%.

CA SEPTEMBER 2025 EXAMINATION
As per the notification dated 30th May 2025, the ICAI has announced that the upcoming examinations will be conducted across multiple centres in India and at nine overseas locations, subject to sufficient candidate registrations.
The Final Course examinations are scheduled for Group I on 3rd, 6th, and 8th September 2025, and for Group II on 10th, 12th, and 14th September 2025.
The Intermediate Course exams will be held for Group I on 4th, 7th, and 9th September 2025, and for Group II on 11th, 13th, and 15th September 2025.
The Foundation Course examinations are slated for 16th, 18th, 20th, and 22nd September 2025. There will be no examinations on 5th September 2025 (Friday) in observance of the gazetted holiday of Milad-un-Nabi.
The Institute has further clarified that there will be no change in the examination schedule if any exam day is later declared a public holiday by the Central or State Government or local authorities.
