ICAI CA September 2025 Results: Meet the Toppers of CA Foundation and Inter
Out of the total of 1 lakh candidates who wrote the exam, 14,609 candidates passed the exam, making the overall pass percentage 14.6% of the foundation and of the total of 36,398 candidates (both Group 1 and Group 2 combined) who wrote the Intermediate exam, 10% was the overall pass percentage.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has announced the results for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Foundation and Intermediate examinations held in September 2025. The list of toppers has also been released.
CA Foundation Toppers
L Rajalakshmi from Chennai secured the first rank, followed by Prem Agarwal of Surat in the second rank, and Neel Rajesh Shah from Mumbai secured the third rank
CA Intermediate Toppers
Neha Khanwani from Jaipur secured the first rank, followed by Kriti Sharma from Ahmedabad with the second rank and Akshai Birendra of Mumbai in the third position.

Pass Percentage of both examinations
In the Foundation examination, a total of 98,827 candidates appeared, and 14,609 candidates cleared the exam, registering an overall pass percentage of approximately 14.78 %.
For the Intermediate examination, 36,398 candidates appeared in both groups, and 3,663 succeeded in passing, achieving a pass rate of about 10.06 %.

CA JANUARY 2026 EXAMINATION
As per the notification released on 23rd September 2025, ICAI has confirmed that the upcoming CA examinations will be conducted across multiple centres in India and overseas (subject to adequate registrations).
The CA Foundation examination is scheduled to be held on the dates of 18, 20, 22, and 24 January 2026, and the CA Intermediate Group I is to be conducted on January 6, 8, and 10 and Group II is to be held on January 12, 15, and 17.
CA Final examination of Group I is scheduled to be held on January 5, 7, and 9 January and Group II on January 11, 13, and 16
Candidates can register for the January 2026 exams starting 3 November 2025, with deadlines for registration without a late fee on 16 November 2025 and with a late fee until 19 November 2025.
