ICAI Issues Revised Schedule for Postponed CA Final and Intermediate Examinations in Kathmandu (Nepal), September 2025 [Read Order]

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released a revised schedule for the postponed Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate Examinations in Kathmandu City (Nepal).

The exams, originally scheduled between 9th and 15th September 2025, will now be conducted from 5th to 11th October 2025.

As per the announcement dated 19th September 2025, the rescheduled examinations will be held at the same centre, D.A.V. Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Kathmandu and at the same timings.

The Intermediate and Final exams will be conducted between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM (IST), except for CA Final Paper 6 (Integrated Business Solutions), which will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (IST).

The revised schedule is as follows:

• Intermediate (Group I) Paper 3 - Taxation: Rescheduled to 5th October 2025 (Sunday)
• Intermediate (Group II) Paper 4 - Cost and Management Accounting: Rescheduled to 7th October 2025 (Tuesday)
• Intermediate (Group II) Paper 5 - Auditing and Ethics: Rescheduled to 9th October 2025 (Thursday)
• Intermediate (Group II) Paper 6 - Financial Management and Strategic Management: Rescheduled to 11th October 2025 (Saturday)
• Final (Group II) Paper 4 - Direct Tax Laws & International Taxation: Rescheduled to 6th October 2025 (Monday)
• Final (Group II) Paper 5 -Indirect Tax Laws: Rescheduled to 8th October 2025 (Wednesday)
• Final (Group II) Paper 6 - Integrated Business Solutions: Rescheduled to 10th October 2025 (Friday)

ICAI has clarified that the admit cards already issued will remain valid for the new dates. Furthermore, it has been stated that there will be no changes to the exam schedule even if any of the revised dates are declared a public holiday by the Central Government, State Government, or local authorities.
